We hereby apologise to Mr Tomáš Berdych for having falsely reported in a story issued on April 4, 2016 that his name appears in the Panama Papers database. Neither the information available on the website originally cited (i.e. www.investigace.cz/panamapapers) nor other available sources include Mr Tomáš Berdych's name in the Panama Papers database.

Prague College, one of the Czech Republic’s leading English language universities, hosted the second in its popular “Master Speaker Series” Thursday, 7th April, this time with Phillip Gottweis from Škoda Auto as the guest speaker. This was a fascinating talk by the coordinator of sponsoring and cooperation at Škoda Auto, who discussed the company’s business strategy in relation to sports sponsorship, which was a great inspiration for the students and members of the public that made up the packed room.

Bator Tabor Summer Camp 2015

Bator Tabor, the charity that organises summer camps for seriously ill children from all over Central Europe, is now accepting applications from the Czech Republic for its summer 2015 camps. Registration is open until Saturday, 14th March. The camps are a safe place for children aged 7-18 who suffer from ailments such as cancer, diabetes or haemophilia, and the experience is free of charge, and features constant but invisible medical supervision so that the children can completely forget about their illness.
