Czech minister voices concern about Polish judiciary reform

Justice Minister Robert Pelikán has sent a letter to his Polish counterpart, Zbigniew Ziobro, voicing concern about Poland's draft judiciary reform now under discussion and urging Ziobro to reassess the bill on the supreme court which the Sejm passed in first reading on Tuesday.

Senate approves EU-Cuba agreement on political dialogue

Police not to work overtime without compensation

Police and members of other security corps will no longer work 150 hours overtime annually without a claim to hours off or a financial compensation, with the exception of declared emergency situations, according to a bill the Senate passed yesterday.

Právo: No wonder Czech PM Sobotka is leaving top party politics

Bohuslav Sobotka's legacy is fading away still before he leaves the office of the Czech prime minister and it is no wonder that he has decided to vacate the scene after the October general election, Lukáš Jelínek writes in daily Právo. Senate approves bill on European parties' work in Czech Republic
